Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Orders should arrive within 4-8 business days unless stated otherwise. Orders received Saturday-Tuesday are shipped within 48 hours. Orders received Wednesday-Friday will ship the following Monday. Plants are not shipped out on Thursday or Friday. During extreme weather conditions FedEx 2 Day Air may be required to ensure quick and safe arrival.

Due to Custom Restraints on live plants we are unable to ship outside of the United States. Orders for shipments outside of the United States will be canceled.

Please note: Shipping calculations may not be accurate under all circumstances. Our shopping cart may generate unreasonably high shipping costs occasionally. If this happens to you, please call us at (877) 410-0860 and request that we determine the actual shipping cost manually. If you place your order regardless, rest assured; real human beings process your order and we will adjust the shipping cost and notify you via e-mail.

Shipping & Weather Conditions

The Lucky Bamboo Shop reserves the right to delay shipments if temperatures anywhere along the shipping route are below 35 degrees Fahrenheit. We constantly check weather reports to varify safe shipping conditions.

Shipments may also be delayed to due inventory of products coming in from overseas.

We will not be held responsible for failing plants due to the following situations:

  • Plants left outside in cold or extreme warm temperatures. We highly recommend that orders be shipped to your office if you are absent during the day.
  • Packages that are lost or stolen once delivered, or no one being home to receive the Priority Mail shipments. Once the items are reported as delivered by the chosen carriers, Lucky Bamboo Shop can no longer be held responsible.  Packages are left at the door if no one is available to receive the package.
  • If an incorrect shipping address is provided Lucky Bambooo Shop is not liable to replace the order.
  • Packages that are left sitting.  These are live plants.  The packages need to be opened and the plants removed and set in water upon arrival.
  • Cutting bamboo plant stalks unless we specify that a certain type can or should be cut. Please read and follow the care instructions included with your shipment carefully.
  • Not adding sufficient water to the plants.
  • Raising the plant's toxicity, or using unfit plant food, or adding plant food in destructive quantities.

Returns - Refunds

We want you to be very happy with your order.  Lucky Bamboo brings smiles and warmth.  That is what Lucky Bamboo Shop is all about.  If your order is not correct or there is damage - let us know. We reserve the right to slightly modify the styles, colors, and/or sizes of containers, the decorative fill, and/or the bamboo stalks themselves without notice. Pictures shown on the website can not be duplicated exactly. Stem lengths and sprouts and leaves may be shorter or longer than depicted. Please remember that since these are live plants, variations occur. The number of stalks in pre-arranged towers may vary due to varying diameters of the stalks.

You may return any item (non plants) for exchange within two weeks of receipt.  Items for exchange must be in their original condition.  (Shipping charges are not included.)  If the plant is damaged or missing notify us in writing within 48 hours of receipt.  Photographs of the damaged plant are required to verify claims.  We may require that the damaged plant(s) be returned to Lucky Bamboo Shop to qualify for the refund. 

Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: Cancellations: You may call us to cancel your order without penalty if canceled before the items have shipped. However we cannot accept cancellations once your order has been shipped. Orders which are refused at delivery will not be credited.

Fraudulent Chargeback Policy: If you do not remember having placed an order with us, or the name on the statement does not look familiar to you ("Lucky Bamboo Shop"), please call us at (877) 410-0860 before requesting a chargeback from your credit card provider or bank.

Due to our high order volume, a lot of research is needed on our part to resolve chargebacks and disputes. Searching through our database, contacting our merchant account provider, customer, etc. to resolve such an "accidental" dispute means that a lot of time is spent on this issue unnecessarily. We try hard to serve you well and ship items with great care and promptness and would like to keep it that way. Thank you for your understanding!

Fraudulent Charges - Stolen Credit Card Purchases: We log IP strings on all orders - any orders coming back as a chargeback due to fraudulent activities will be diligently pursued through your local jurisdiction for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law!

Please do not place an order using someone else's credit card, even if you have their permission. The name of the person ordering and the name on the credit card must be the same!
