The snake or the serpent is important to the Chinese culture. This is the year of the snake. In some parts of China the Great Wall of China is referred to as the "Serpentine Wall" due to its smooth undulating curves winding its way through hilly country. A wall of defense becomes a work of art with gentle curves that are pleasing to the eye and restful to the senses.
The Serpentine Wall arrangement comes in varying sizes according to the height. The height option is measured from the bottom of the stalk to the top of the tallest stem in the arrangement. All of the arrangements are of the same width and vary only in height. The 4 1/2" x 9" vase and polished river rock provide the anchor.
The pictured arrangement is the 12" version.
