For protection from other Chinese war lords, all major cities were surrounded by high walls. Each gate was given a name to differentiate one gate from the others. Important gates had prominent and powerful names. In myth, no creature is more powerful than the dragon, hence, there were many Dragon Gates in China.
The Lucky Bamboo Shop's verision of the Dragon Gate is ferocious with red ties, jutting turrets and massive cross pieces. The strong red 4 1/2" x 9" vase and polished river rock, say "No one is going to pass this gate."
This design lends itself to different size arrangements, each larger and more grander than the previous. The height option is measured from the bottom of the stem to the top of the stem of the largest lucky bamboo in the arrangement. All of the arrangements are of the same width and vary only in height.
